Meet Claire

Born and raised in Aptos, Claire grew up immersed in the beauty of the Santa Cruz coastline and the close-knit community she proudly calls home. From a young age, hair became her creative language—first on dolls, then on her sister and cousins naturally evolving into a lifelong passion for artistry and connection.

Claire began her professional journey in 2014 at Paul Mitchell in San Jose. After graduating, she refined her craft working in both Monterey and San Jose, learning from every chapter along the way. Most recently, she honed her skills at Kinship Salon in downtown Santa Cruz, where she became known for her thoughtful consultations, elevated technique, and calm, welcoming presence.

Now, Claire feels incredibly grateful to continue her career in Santa Cruz serving clients from Capitola, Aptos, Soquel, and beyond, right where her story began.

Claire specializes in curly hair and dry curly haircuts, lived-in blonding, grey blending, and precision bobs. Her work is intentional and personalized, designed to enhance natural texture and create hair that feels effortless, modern, and true to each client’s lifestyle.

Outside the salon, Claire’s world is filled with the people and places she loves most. She enjoys time with her husband Sampson, bonus son Kai, and their dogs Rocky and Sequoia. You’ll often find her at the beach, mountain biking in the Santa Cruz Mountains, traveling, or riding her horse—one of her favorite ways to unwind and reconnect.
